SINGLE & Dual-HOLE MICRO CAPILLARIES Micro
capillaries are fiber optic devices to attach fibers optics with precise alignment.
XMULTIPLE’s single micro capillary offers a solution to align one
fiber and the dual micro capillary aligns two fibers.
Because glass is suitable for mass production with its thermal
softening property our glass micro capillaries are manufactured with the
highest quality at the lowest possible pricing. XMULTIPLE XCAP-1 and XCAP-2
micro capillaries are made with the a high chemical durability and
the XCAP capillaries have the highest quality polishing characteristics. Both capillaries offer high UV transmittance which makes it
possible to use UV curable adhesives to attaché the fiber to the capillaries.
The XMULTIPLE XCAP micro capillary series are designed
for easy mechanical assembly with the least amount of labor required for
connecting and splicing fiber optic cables. The efficiency of the fiber
optic installers is improved and our capillaries reduces the time required
to attach fibers and therefore reduces cost. The XCAP micro capillaries adhere to coated
fibers as well as bare fiber. Coated
fiber can be inserted firmly into the glass capillary holes.
